Edward Emmett Kaufman (born March 15, 1939) is a retired American politician and businessman. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as a U.S. Senator from Delaware from 2009 to 2010. Born in Philadelphia, he graduated from Central High School before earning a B.S. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
